I graduated from Texas A&M University. This is my 15th year of teaching, all of which is in the 2nd grade. I teach math, science, and social studies. I am married, and have 4 children. I love the water, music, animals, and collecting apples. I absolutely love teaching. I believe that learning should be fun for my students, which is why I incorporate an abundance of humor in my classroom. I believe that if we can't laugh, then we can't live. I encourage my students to work hard, take chances, and be creative at all times. I believe that each one of my students has something special to offer, and it is my job to nurture and mold them even more. I strive to make a difference in my students, no matter how large or small that difference may be.
