Hello and welcome to Krause Elementary School! I am glad that you are apart of the Krause Family where this is one school with many faces! My name is Porcha Mays and I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Prairie View A&M University. I received my Master of Education Degree in Curriculum & Instruction-Reading Education at Prairie View A&M University. I will start working on my Doctoral Degree in Reading this Spring at Prairie View A&M University. This is my fourth year of teaching and my instructional aide is Mrs. Roxanne Buro. I love to interact with my students to ensure that learning is fun and exciting. I believe that children are our future and the sky is the limit for possibilities. During my years of teaching I have made it my goal to challenge my students to go the extra mile in learning! I believe that no child should be left behind and a child's education is their greatest investment for their future.
In my spare time I love to read books and shop.
