I was born in Brenham and married my high school sweetheart, John. I come from a long line of teachers but did not become one until much later in life. I am a graduate of Brenham High School, Blinn College, and Sam Houston State University. I enjoy reading, traveling, cooking, shopping, and music. I love all animals, especially cats and I have a cat Tildy.
