Monday – “T” is our letter of the week. Please complete and return capital T handwriting page tomorrow in your folder. This week, we will be reviewing the word “I” and working on reading and spelling the words “can” and “purple”. Sing the purple song with someone you love. Please remember to take out and review any papers sent home daily.

Tuesday - Tell someone what your can do with your hands. What was your favorite part of the book Hands Can? What colors did we mix today to make purple paint? You will find a Tt homework page in your folder. Please complete this page and return it by Friday.

Wednesday – Complete and return your lowercase t handwriting page tomorrow. What is your favorite thing to smell and hear? Read the sentences using “I” and “can” on page 8.

Thursday – Did you have fun in Art today? We will go to Art once a week every third week. Find some toys in your room or objects in your house you can sort. There are lots of ways to sort: by shape, size, color, thickness, etc…. Bring your “Tt homework page back tomorrow if you have not already done so. Everyone will share theirs with the class.

Friday – How did you do on your red and purple color word pages. Please practice reading these words if you are having trouble. Ask mom or dad to quiz you on opposites. Do you know the opposite of hard or short?
