Hi! This is my third year teaching and my second year teaching Kindergarten. I am so excited to be able to teach in Brenham at Alton Elementary. I grew up just outside of Brenham and attended school here, so Brenham ISD is very close to my heart.
I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in Early Childhood Education.
I married my high school sweetheart in June 2009. My husband, Brian, and I currently live on 18 acres in the country with our FIVE dogs Kujo (Chihuahua), Cuda (Poodle), Pearl and Cooper (Bloodhounds) and Commander (Black Lab). We are expecting our first child in February 2012! We are very excited!
We love the outdoors and hunt and fish regularly. I also love to train and work with horses and have been doing so most of my life. I also make jewelry and love to read in my spare time.
Teaching is my true passion and I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!
