1. I will be prepared and on time.
2. I will listen and follow directions.
3. I will have permission to speak or leave my seat.
4. I will respect myself and others.

Occasionally students choose to ignore class expectations. I will give students cues, reminders, and warnings to get them back on track. Each child begins every day on green.

1st time - color changed to yellow - discuss behavior with the teacher and 5 min. time out
2nd time - color changed to red - discuss behavior with the teacher and 10 min. time out
3rd time - color changed to gray - phone call home/visit to the office
Severe disruption - immediately set up a conference with the principal

Your child will be bringing home a green Citizenship Folder which will indicate his or her daily behavior. Please make sure you review this with your child, initial on the appropriate day, and return it the next morning. If your child remains on green throughout the week, he or she will receive a reward on Friday from the treasure chest for good behavior.
