This is my 8th year to teach in Brenham at Alton Elementary. Before moving to Washington County, I taught in Spring ISD. During this time I, also, had the opportunity to teach in an American International school in Puerta La Cruz, Venezuela. In addition, I have taught Developmental Reading/Writing classes at North Harris County Community College (currently LoneStar Community College).

I attended the University of Houston and received my BA in Sociology, Teacher Certification, and MA in Reading/Language Arts with a Reading Specialist certification. I am also Reading Recovery and ESL certified.

I am married and we have 4 children. We currently have 3 grandchildren.

I enjoy working with children and helping them succeed in their learning. I look forward to working with your child.
