A list of spelling words will be sent home on Monday and tested on Friday. Also, your child will be required to read at least 15 minutes nightly (the assigned reading time will gradually increase to 30 minutes), record the time on the reading log, and return it to school on Friday. Please remember that homework counts as 10% of the grade.

A red bradded folder is designated for homework. Your child will be responsible for writing down their assignments on the homework sheet. After the child completes the assignment, just place it back in the pocket of the folder. Homework counts for 10% of the grade.

A blue bradded folder will be used as the Citizenship Folder. The folder will come home on Tuesday to be reviewed and signed. Please review the citizenship marks and completed work, remove the classwork, sign the calendar, and return the folder on Wednesday.
