Welcome to First Grade! I believe First Grade is one of the most important grades that your child will experience. The needed "strong foundation" will continue to be laid so that your child will be successful and confident in his/her school years to come.
I would like to tell you a little about myself. I graduated from high school in College Station. I moved to Brenham 36 years ago, so I consider Brenham my home. I have one grown son (photo above) who attended Brenham Public Schools and now lives in Illinois. His two sons, Cameron (15) and Colton (14), live in Brenham and attend Brenham High School. I attended Blinn Junior College and Texas A&M University. This is the beginning of my thirty-second year of teaching. I have taught a variety of ages but my heart's desire is to teach the young child. I continue to teach First Grade because I love what I do! I look forward to spending this year with your child!
