The Texas Department of State Health Services has added new immunization requirements for the 2009-2010 school year. The following vaccines will be required for entry into 7th grade:
1. Meningococcal Vaccine
2. Varicella Vaccine (second dose)
3. Tdap (Tetanus Booster)

There are several places in Washington County at which you can receive these vaccines: Trinity Wellness (979-830-5017), Washington County EMS (979-277-6267), Public Health Clinic (979-836-1740), or your doctor’s office. Please take a copy of your vaccination record to your appointment and provide your child’s school with an updated copy.

There are several students who have not returned vision or spinal referrals that were sent home. Reminder, letters were sent in “Friday Folders” to those students over Spring Break. Please return the referrals to the nurse’s office prior to the end of this school year.
