Popular series this year: Harry Potter, Madison Finn, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Series of Unfortunate Events, Captain Underpants and the ever popular Hank the Cowdog.
Some of the most checked out books this year: So B. It, Where the Red Fern Grows, How to Steal a Dog, The Invention of Hugo Cabret, and Deep, Dark, and Dangerous.
The 2009 Newbery Award medal winner is The Graveyard by Neil Gaiman. What a great graveyard story!
Accelerated Reader (AR) is the reading program used at BMS. Records are made to be broken and each year, our students BREAK ‘EM!! Each year our campus achieves more points earned by students and more words read than the previous year.
