Accelerated Reader allows students the opportunity to select a book of interest, read it, and take a computerized comprehension and vocabulary quizes.
*We have AR check-out daily from 8:15-8:45 and 2:30-3:00.
*A good time to take an AR quiz is in the morning from 7:25-8:00 while waiting in the cafeteria. Tests can also be taken in the classroom at the beginning of the day and during seatwork time.
*Grades are not attached to the number of points accumulated.
*Goals are set based on previous progress and performance.
